When Tyrone came out, he saw that she was already dressed and opened the door to go out. He was a little stunned. Then he understood and said lightly, "I'll send you back."
“No. You just sleep.” The bedroom door was closed.
The man's slight relaxing face was straight again.
Cathy stood at the door, biting her lower lip with regret.
When she returned home, Mila has been coxed to sleep by Mother Lawson. She got into Mila’s room to have a look. The small kid nested in the big bed, sleeping very soundly.
Mother Lawson took the meal out of the incubator and called to her, "Come and eat."
When Cathy looked at her, her mother was bound to ask what had happened. She was nervous and hesitated. She was thinking about what to say.
“What about Dad? Sleep? "
"Yes." Mother Lawson said casually, staring at her and asking, "Did they fight because of you?"
Cathy ate some porridge and frowned: "It's a misunderstanding. How could it be because of me?"
Mother Lawson seemed to not believe it. Her properly maintained face was seldom showing seriousness and her voice was not soft as usual: "Cathy, I can see clearly. Tyrone wants to save your marriage with him. He has done well during this period. If you think it's OK, there's no need for your children to call an outsider father."
Cathy frowned silently, stirred the porridge, and suddenly lost her appetite.
"I know that."
“You don't know! It's true that Matt is interested in you. But after all, he has a child. It's impossible for him to put all his attention on you and your children, let alone your children are twins?”
When Mother Lawson finished, she saw that Cathy had eaten a little. She didn’t want to talk more and then put the vegetables in her bowl.
Cathy stared at the bowl and remained motionless.
Tyrone said the same thing to her. Matt was not the best choice.
It was that.
But did she want to be pregnant and find a man to be her husband?
She drooped, hiding her emotions, and muffled, "Mom, have you thought about it. Tyrone did it just for the sake of the children? He couldn't fall in love with me for three years when we were together. When I had a baby, it changed immediately?”
She paused, looked up and said unwillingly, "If it's because of a children, I'll never have remarriage."
Mother Lawson also thought about it, but from the perspective of the parents, life was ultimately greater than love.
She sighed and didn’t say anything. She only reminded her, "The emotional affairs are decided by yourself. But the two of them...”
"I have refused Matt. You should rest assured what your daughter have done?" Cathy grinned bitterly.
Mother Lawson smiled and said, "I rest assured. Now eat quickly."
...
Mila woke up early in the morning and ran around looking for Matt. Cathy held her and explained, "Dad is on a business trip. Can Mila stay with me these two days?"
In the case of previous business trips, Mila accepted with a blink of her eyes.
When Cathy saw that she was cute and delightful, she couldn't help kissing her and said, "Brush your teeth and eat quickly. I will take you to class later."
Tyrone came during the meal time. Mother Lawson asked him to sit down and eat together.
He took off his coat and sat beside Cathy. A smell of aftershave water came over.
The man sided his head and said, "I'll take her to class. If you don't feel relieved, you can follow. And I will sent you back when we come there."
Cathy refused without thinking, "No, it's too much trouble. Let's take a taxi."
