A few girls around her recognized Venus and also showed their disdain.
Venus explained lightly, "I forgot to bring it."
"Is that so?" Betty laughed pointedly, "At least we're acquaintances, why don't you beg me and I'll take you in?"
The friend beside me echoed, "Betty, when did you become so kind? It's okay to take them in, but the request must be sincere."
Betty nodded in agreement: "How about you guys take a knee for me?"
She was so vicious that Jane couldn't stand it and said, "Someone just got called a dog for being a bully, but the heat hasn't gone down yet.
Betty's anger kept rising at the mention of this.
For the first time in my life, I was too embarrassed to go on social media accounts, too afraid to go to school, and was lectured by my grandparents and Darcel.
No one in the room would ever video her saying that she would teach Venus a lesson and that she would be humiliated today!
Betty suddenly became gentle: "That's right, forget about kneeling, Venus, I know you are Johnny's girlfriend, right? Last time at the mall, wasn't it his card that you used?"
Venus winked and smiled.
She made up the day after they left, the teller would not disclose the customer's private information, but gave the general direction, so Betty thought she was using the card given by Johnny.
Maybe that's what Darcel thought, too, is what he told his sister.
"Master Johnny's girlfriend? Well, I'm sorry to say, but since Miss Clark and Master Johnny are lovers, how could he not give you an invitation to the Stewart family's grandma's birthday party?" The friend continued to follow the chorus.
