Chapter 565 Sabotage 

Aletta sensed that something was amiss as soon as the thought crossed her mind. 

Jenny was still not fully recovered, yet they found her again. 

What did they want? 

Aletta’s heart sank, and she gripped Jock’s arm tightly and instinctively. 

“Aletta, what’s wrong?” Jock noticed her unease and asked with 

concern. 

Aletta stared intently at the figures not far away, urgently telling her, “Jock, we have to stop them. They might be hypnotists! Do you know hypnotists? They…” 

Before she could finish her sentence, Jock interrupted, saying, “I know what a hypnotist is!” 

Her expression seemed somewhat surprised, clearly not expecting to hear about this profession from Aletta. 

Aletta was taken aback too. 

However, upon further thought, it wasn’t that surprising after all, considering Jock’s extraordinary identity. 

Aletta nodded and continued, “Jenny was hypnotized, and she did something bad to me and the children… I noticed that she didn’t seem right just now! Those two people, they asked her out again, so they must have some sinister plan.” 

As she spoke, Aletta furrowed her brows. 

She didn’t care at all about what happened to Jenny. 

But she couldn’t ignore it if she brought trouble to Jason and herself, or even harmed the children. 

Thinking about this, she couldn’t help but feel disgusted. 

“Being hypnotized is not a good thing,” Jock realized the seriousness of the situation too. 

She continued, “They must be either instructing her to do something bad or conducting a second round of hypnosis at this moment. If a person is hypnotized multiple times, they won’t be able to regain consciousness. It seems… we need to stop them!” 

By now, Jenny and the others had already entered the private room. Jock instructed Aletta, “Wait for me here. I’ll go and find out what’s going on… If my suspicions are correct, I’ll find a way to interrupt them!” 

Aletta nodded. “I’ll go with you.” 

Jock stopped her. “No, I’m trained, so they won’t detect me. But you can’t. Just stay quietly in the private room.” 

With that, she pushed Aletta back into the room and quietly made her way toward their direction. 

Left alone in the private room, Aletta worried about Jock’s safety. 

But she understood that if she went along, they might alert the enemy. 

Nonetheless, she couldn’t just sit around and do nothing. 

Quickly rummaging through her bag, Aletta found her phone and 

dialled Jason’s number. 

The call was answered right away. 

Jason had just finished his lunch and spoke with a gentle tone, “Are you done with your meal?” 

“Yes.” Aletta replied, and she continued urgently, “I just Jenny in the restaurant. She met with two strange people, and I suspect they’re the hypnotists who hypnotized her. Jock has followed them, and I’m 

waiting for her in the private room. I’m worried that something might go wrong…” 

As soon as Jason heard the words “hypnotists,” his face turned slightly darkened. 

“You stay put. I’ll come over right away. I’ll be there soon!” 

“Okay!” 

Aletta obediently replied and waited anxiously inside the private room. 

On the other side, 

Jock approached the private room quietly where Jenny and the others 

were… 

Although this restaurant had a traditional and antique wooden structure, the private rooms were heavily soundproofed to ensure privacy. 

She couldn’t hear what was happening inside. 

Jock was contemplating her next move when a waiter was about to enter the room to take orders. 

Since the door wasn’t completely closed, she overheard the man inside speaking coldly, “Just bring us some signature dishes and serve them after twenty minutes. Don’t let anyone disturb us during this time. We have matters to discuss.” 

The waiter nodded immediately, “Okay.” 

He then stepped back. 

Jock’s eyes narrowed slightly. 

Twenty minutes was exactly the length of a hypnosis session. 

In that case, all she needed to do was disrupt it! 

With that thought in mind, Jock slipped into the adjacent private room. 

This room was unoccupied, and she quickly scanned the surroundings. Spotting a vase on the table, she grabbed it and started counting the time.
