Ex-Husband’s Regret: Barren Mommy Has Quadruplets novel Chapter 584

Chapter 584 You Are Finally Here

Aletta’s stomach was churning, and she felt a strong urge to vomit.

However, upon hearing Jason’s words, she immediately replied, “I

can.”

With great effort, she steadied herself and reached for her phone.

After unlocking it, she quickly sent her location to Jason.

Jason received the location and quickly analyzed the available routes on the map. Then he directed the driver, “Turn left after the second intersection ahead! Pass three traffic lights and then turn right…”

He immediately contacted the waiting bodyguards for assistance and said. “Split into two groups. One group proceeds to Wood Avenue, and the other heads to Lilac Street. Meet at the intersection and intercept those vehicles!”

“Roger!”

Thanks to Jason’s calm and clear guidance. Even without reducing speed, the driver had a precise route to follow.

However, the trailing vehicles were not as fortunate.

With the sudden changes in the car’s route several times, they were unable to react in time. Moreover, the streets were filled with heavy traffic and pedestrians, making the situation even more challenging. Ast a result, the first vehicle was quickly forced to a stop, nearly causing a disastrous outcome.

Upon seeing this, the remaining two vehicles continued the pursuit.

However, after passing two more intersections, they encountered traffic police officers and police cars ahead.

It was evident that he was coming for them.

At that moment, the trailing party began to hesitate. Their minds retreated, and they didn’t dare chase too closely.

Despite feeling unwell, Aletta managed to maintain her composure and observe the situation outside. And she naturally noticed the scene.

She could easily deduce that this was Jason’s doing.

His meticulous planning and strategic arrangements left no mistakes.

Another 5 minutes passed.

Behind them, there was no longer any sign of the trailing vehicle.

The driver quickly reported to Jason, “Mr. Hill, we’ve lost them!”

Jason’s heart, which had been in constant suspense, finally relaxed.

After a few deep breaths, he instructed, “Continue for two more straight intersections. There’s a hotel owned by Hill Group there. Park there.”

“Okay.”

The driver answered and ended the call.

During the life-or-death chase, Aletta had been on edge, her nerves tightly wound.

Now, the car slowed down.

She couldn’t help but feel exhausted. She leaned back against the rear seat, feeling her limbs grow weak and cold.

Only then did she notice her back was soaked with cold sweat.

She stared blankly at the calm and peaceful street scene outside, her mind unable to shake off the surreal feeling.

As if the thrilling and exciting chase just now was just a dream…

When they neared the hotel, Aletta caught sight of Jason’s tall figure from afar.

He stood upright at the entrance, his gaze frequently turning in her direction.

When he noticed their car approaching, he quickly walked toward them.

Seeing the urgency in his demeanor, an inexplicable emotion surged within Aletta.

She had never longed for his embrace as much as she did now…

Only by his side did she feel safe!

With slightly trembling hands, Aletta opened the car door and stepped

out.

And Jason arrived just in time.

Aletta, without thinking, rushed into his embrace.

Jason quickly raised his hands and caught her.

“You’re finally here.”

Aletta buried her head and spoke.

Aletta restrained her voice, but she was still trembling slightly.

“Yeah, I’m here.”

Jason held her tightly in his arms.

His heartbeat was racing, and he felt a lingering fear that only he knew.

Although he had been instructed calmly earlier, being unable to be by her side had filled him with worry.

Now, holding her in his arms, he felt he had reclaimed a precious

treasure.

Aletta felt the same way.

After a moment in his embrace, as she breathed in his familiar scent, her emotions gradually calmed down.

She slowly lifted her head and reassured him, “Don’t worry, I wasn’t scared, just nervous…

Hearing your voice on the phone in the car makes me not scared. anymore. Because I know you would save me!”

Jason’s heart melted, and he lowered his head to kiss the top of her head. His voice carried a sense of relief after the ordeal, “Yeah, luckily you’re alright! Otherwise, I would have gone crazy.”

Upon hearing that, Aletta couldn’t help but snuggle closer into his embrace. She then asked softly, “What’s the situation now? Were those people caught?”

At that moment, Eaton had just finished his call and walked over to report, “Mr. Hill, two out of the three cars managed to escape. One of them was stopped by the traffic police, and the occupants attempted to flee but were apprehended by our team. They have been taken to the police station.”

A cold, stern glint flashed through Jason’s eyes, accompanied by a strong sense of chill.

He instructed Eaton, “Handle the situation with the escaped car and continue tracking them. I’ll take Aletta back home.”

“Okay!”

Eaton promptly followed the orders.

Soon, Jason took Aletta back to Hill Villa.

Meanwhile, Eaton headed straight to the police station to handle follow-up matters.

Due to this incident, Jason didn’t go out for the rest of the afternoon and stayed home with Aletta.
