Logan slipped into the blankets. Luz tucked him in as he stared at him hopefully.

"It's like I miss my daddy, right?"

Luz was stunned. When she thought of the man she had just met in the restaurant, her heart trembled slightly.

The pain spread in her heart.

She sighed bitterly and ruffled Logan's hair. "Just sleep, darling. I'll take you to Mia's place tomorrow," she said with a gentle smile.

"Okay!" Logan replied and closed his eyes.

It didn't take long for him to fall asleep.

Luz leaned over and kissed her son on the forehead. "I love you, baby."

The next day, at the M&R Company.

"Amy, I may need to stay here for a while," Luz told the person on the other end of the phone.

When she saw that the elevator door was about to close, she ran up hurriedly to stop it. "Sorry, please wait!"

After entering the elevator, the phone hung up automatically.

Luz pouted helplessly and put the phone back into her bag.

A familiar voice sounded beside her. "Henry, I want to have the fillet steak at Morrey Casey Restaurant for lunch later today, can you come with me?"

"Okay." The man replied in a cold voice.

Luz was shocked.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a man and a woman standing in the elevator with her.

Emily Hurst was in a flowery dress with ten-centimetre high heels. She was holding on the arm of the man beside her. They looked like a perfect match.

The man was Henry Maynard.

It was Henry again!

He stood beside Emily as if he did not see her, but he exuded a dangerous aura.
