Josie raised her head to look at the time.

Henry hadn't returned yet.

"Jo, did Henry sign it yet?" Madelyn was still waiting at home, afraid that Henry wouldn't sign it.

"Maddy, whatever is going on between them has nothing to do with me. Henry doesn't love me."

Madelyn was speechless. "Just leave the jerk and start a new life."

Josie smiled. "Henry is not that bad. You used to say he was my knight."

When Madelyn first learned that Henry and Josie were getting married, Madelyn was happy for Josie.
