Chapter 364 Completely Different Worldviews

Hearing him say this, I was taken aback for a moment, quite unprepared. I couldn’t help but laugh and nod my head.

Having packed and ready to leave, we were waiting in the hotel lobby for William to arrange the car when Daniel and Sebastian also came down. Seeing us, they both paused slightly, seemingly taken aback.

Sebastian pushed Daniel closer, looking at me and said, “Ms. Conner.”

I looked at them, both had changed into casual outfits, seemingly planning to go somewhere for fun. I couldn’t help but laugh, “Are you guys also going out?”

Daniel nodded, smiling faintly, “Hmm, going out for a walk, what’s this about?”

“Likewise, the kids at home have never seen a primeval forest and they want to see it,” I said, without asking them where they wanted to go.

Sebastian paused, surprised, “Ms. Conner, are you also going to the primeval forest?”

I paused and said. “Are you going too?”

Sebastian nodded, somehow hesitatingly looking at Daniel. He didn’t seem happy, but rather a bit worried.

Daniel’s expression was unscathed, he just looked at me with a faint smile and said, “That’s perfect, let’s go together.”

I nodded, feeling it was no big deal. After all, we were all going to have fun, and it would be lively together.

Sebastian hesitated, then said, “Mr. Monroe…”

Daniel merely glanced at him indifferently, his expression unchanged.

Springbury was not like River City, filled with skyscrapers. Most things here retained a natural, primitive flavor. Humans did not overly encroach here, and plants and animals grew harmoniously and densely.

Hermosa was a child, her perception of nature seemed to be much more genuine and straightforward than adults. As soon as she arrived at the primeval forest, she was pulling William to climb to the highest place.

Helplessly, William could only take him first.

The few who were left were either elderly or pregnant women, and of course, there was one in a wheelchair.

Sebastian and I naturally couldn’t follow, so we sat in the animal performance area with a group of people.

After sitting for about half an hour, the audience area was filled with constant applause due to the wonderful performance of the animals. I honestly felt bored, so I said goodbye to Emma and the old lady and left.

I found a spot by a fish pond in the scenic area to sit and space out. I like to space out in quiet places.

When Daniel arrived, my mind was still dull. If it weren’t for the sudden appearance of a large group of goldfish in the pond, I wouldn’t have reacted for a moment.

Realizing that someone nearby was feeding the fish, I glanced

sideways and saw that Daniel had already thrown out most of the fish food he was holding.

“How did you get here?” I blurted out.

He handed me the fish food, smiling faintly, “You feed them.”

I took it, still waiting for his answer. He responded with a non sequitur, asking, “Don’t you like watching animal performances?”

The fish in the pond huddled together, gulping down the fish food floating on the surface. I threw a handful towards the area with the most fish and responded with a faint, “Hmm.”

“Why?” He was indeed a man of strong curiosity.
