Briana frowned and, after a busy day, she completely forgot about this

matter.

“Wait for me for five minutes.”

She quickly packed up her things and arrived at Maxim’s car exactly five minutes later.

“Did you wear this outfit to attend the banquet today?”

Briana glanced down at her outfit for the day, a sundress paired with a blazer, a very normal attire.

“Could I not attend the banquet in this outfit?”

Maxim remained silent for a few seconds and then spoke, “Gunnar, go to the mall.” 

Briana frowned, “Mr. Yoder, it was just attending a banquet, there was no need to make such a fuss, right?”

“Today, you were the protagonist of the banquet, so naturally you had to be the most beautiful one!” 

Seeing the indifference in Maxim’s eyes, Briana was well aware that even if she refused, he would still do as he pleased, so she decided to remain silent.
