Jalen also heard Elaina’s words. His body froze, but he quickly came back to his senses. “Dr. Gainsford is really kind. Is there a need for a famous doctor like you to go to the countryside for free treatment?”

He felt that only unimportant doctors would be sent to do this kind of free treatment. After all, a doctor like Elaina leaving for a few months was a major loss for the hospital and the patients in

“Since it’s volunteer medical work, it doesn’t matter whether the doctor is famous or not. If public welfare has to be measured in terms of profits, what is the meaning of it?” Elaina looked at Jalen with an indifferent expression.

She was not polite to Jalen. Since Elaina was with Nitzan, Jalen could not do anything to her.

Jalen heard the sarcasm in her words. This was to say that he valued profits most, and he felt

attention to the hospital recently. No one reported it to me.”
