“Corey, your parents…” Elaina looked at the sensible child in front of her. She did not know how to tell Corey the news of his parents’ death.

Jalen gave Corey a piece of candy and touched his head. “How about going out and seeing your younger sister?”

“Yes.”

“I understand how you feel as a doctor and want to save everyone, but you have to admit that you are not all-powerful,” Jalen comforted.
