Chapter 57
“I just don’t like someone with the surname Halton. So what if I like someone with the surname Judson? What does it have to do with you?” Elaina was furious. What right did he have to question her here?
“Elaina!” Jalen gritted his teeth.
Elaina looked up at him and said word by word, “I don’t like people with the surname
Halton, especially Jalen Halton!”
Jalen grabbed her lower jaw with his big hand. “Say it again!”
“I said, I don’t like…
“Oh…”
Before Elaina could finish her words, Jalen’s lips were pressed to hers, and she felt a
burning sensation. She couldn’t think anymore.
She stared at the man in front of her with wide eyes, and for a moment, she forgot to push him away.
“Slap!”
Elaina, who came back to her senses, slapped Jalen’s face angrily. She was furious. “Jalen! You bastard!”
Jalen covered his painful gloomy face and snarled, “You are the first person who dares
to hit me.”
“So what?” If the law hadn’t forbidden it, she really wanted to kill this man.
Jalen gritted his teeth and nodded. “Very good. I just don’t know if you can bear my anger.”
After saying that, Jalen turned and left.
Elaina was so angry that she almost laughed. Jalen thought he was right?
She wiped her lips as if she felt it was not enough to vent her anger. She went straight to the bathroom and washed her lips with cold water several times before she felt much better.

“You were just bitten by a dog,” she comforted herself.

Jalen returned to his home. Although he was mad at Elaina’s slap, when he came back to his senses, he knew his actions were somewhat inappropriate.
