Fated to Love You Again (Shawn and Norah) novel Chapter 129

Chapter 129 He Just Learned That the Baby Had Gone1

These words were like a sharp thorn that suddenly pierced into Shawn's heart.

If possible, how much he wished that he hadn't said those words, and how much he wished she hadn't heard them.

However, there was no regret medicine in the world.

Shawn walked towards Norah, stretched out his hands and hugged her into his arms, resting his head on Norah's neck. He murmured in pain, "Norah, I'm sorry. You're right. I regret. I don't want to get a divorce at all, so don't get a divorce, okay?"

He hugged Norah so tightly. The strength was so strong that as if he wanted to rub her into his flesh, blood, and life.

If it was in the past, Norah must be softhearted.

But this time was different. As long as she thought of the baby she lost, her heart hurt like being cut by a knife.

She was in so much pain.

She couldn't even forgive herself, so how could she forgive him?

"I'm sorry!"

Norah couldn't help but shed tears when she said.

After going through so much, she thought her heart was invulnerable and as hard as iron, but she still felt pain.

She admitted that she still loved him.

However, there was always so much helplessness in this world.

She couldn't get over the fact that the baby had been lost. As soon as she saw him, she would think of the car accident and the blood shedding under her body madly.

If... If he could go there sooner...

Norah didn't dare to think about what happened next.

Because every time she thought about it more, she would blame him more.

"I'm sorry, honey. I was wrong."

"Give me another chance, okay? I will definitely not let you down this time, and I will cherish you very much." Shawn hugged her, promising in pain.

It wasn't until now that he realized how much he was afraid of losing her.

If the words "I'm sorry" could make her stay, he was willing to say them a thousand times, or even ten thousand times.

Norah wiped away her tears. She turned around, and looked at Shawn calmly, "I had given you chances, time and time again, but did you know how painful I was when I saw you give up on me for Lilian Fountain again and again?"

"I am a human being, an ordinary person, and I also have flesh and blood. When you gave up on me countless times, did you ever think that I would also be in pain?"

"I know you want to divorce me because of Lily. I have already sent her abroad, and I promise I will never contact her again. Don't get divorced from me, okay?"

Hearing these, Norah suddenly laughed.

She shook her head, and looked at Shawn with a poignant smile on the corner of her mouth, "Do you think it's just because of Lilian Fountain? It's not..."

"It's not just her. How could it be just because of her?"

Shawn asked anxiously, "Then what else?"

Norah stretched out her hands, and slowly put her hands on her lower abdomen. She said with a soft gaze.

"Did you know there was once a cute little baby here, who was so small, so fragile, but I had heard his heartbeat, and even saw him in the B-ultrasound. He was dancing in my belly very cutely."

"Do you know how much I loved him? I would sacrifice everything to protect him, but now, he's gone..."

"He's gone. He left me alone.."

In the end, Norah was bursting into tears, and her voice was trembling.

She bent down, squatted on the ground, hugged herself tightly, and buried her head between her knees, as if only this could relieve the pain a little bit.

Shawn stood there dumbfounded, as if he was frozen, without even turning his eyeballs.

Norah did not want to get angry, but as soon as she closed her eyes and thought of what he had said, she was in pain and could not control herself.

She reached out, shoving and slapping Shawn frantically.

Her hands even grabbed his face directly, and instantly, several bloodstains appeared on his face, oozing out traces of blood.

But even so, she couldn't relieve the hatred, and it was also difficult to relieve the pain in her heart.

She was in great pain.

She had been holding back, numbing herself, and telling herself it wasn't true after she knew the baby had gone.

But now, she could not hold back any longer. All the anger, at this moment, was like finding an outlet to vent, roaring madly.

Did she blame him?

Yes, she did.

Of course she did. How could she not?

If he had rushed there, the outcome might have been different and she might not have lost the baby. Even if she did lose him, she wouldn't have felt so bad and suffered so much.

In the end, Shawn's face was covered with traces of blood that was scratched by Norah. The buttons on his clothes were also ripped off by Norah. The clothes set on his body messily and the tie was thrown on the ground in a mess.

He stood in front of her with a wretched face, which was totally not as handsome as he was before.

He lowered his head, and his hands clenched into fists, without moving or even stepping back. He just stood there and let Norah hit.

"Why not go away?"

Putting down her hands, Norah looked at him with angry red eyes.

"..."

Shawn remained standing. His back was straight, and he did not move a bit.

Norah growled and looked at him, "Go away! Why not go away?"
