Chapter 160 I Have Loved My Husband for Ten Years
"Shawn, you know what? I hate you."
"Hate you. You're like a wooden head. So stupid."
Norah said while reaching out one of her fingers to poke at Shawn's chest.
Although she was drunk, she was pretty, charming, and attractive.
Her cheeks were flushed, and her lips were red as pink cherries, especially when she was steaming from the bathroom heat, making her look even more lovely and delicate.
Shawn stood there. He didn't move or step back. He just let Norah's finger poke at his chest.
Norah poked for a while, then stopped.
When she thought of something, she reached out and poked twice more.
In the end, she laughed and asked, "Shawn, you're like a different person. Why don't you dodge away?"
"Why should I dodge away?" He said.
Norah blinked her agile eyes.
Thinking of something, she smiled wryly.
Suddenly, she cupped the water in the bathtub and threw it all at Shawn.
Shawn was caught off guard, and when he realized what happened, Norah had already poured water on him several times.
Seeing that his body and hair were all wet, with water dripping down his hair, Norah laughed aloud, "Because if you don't dodge away, you'll get wet!"
It had been long since he had seen her laugh so happily.
Shawn's heart softened.
He did not retreat but took another step forward.
His long white hands landed on Norah's hair and gently rubbed it. He dotingly said, "Is it fun to splash me?"
Norah nodded and smiled, "Yes."
She suddenly stood up in the bathtub and poked at his chest again in a disgruntled accusation.
"You know what? When I knew you, you always looked like a gentle, elegant, flamboyant man, like the flower on the high hill that people didn't dare to climb or pick."
"But now..." Norah poked him again heavily and continued, "You come down in the world, just like me, an ordinary person."
"Shawn, you know what? I don't like you at all like this, making us look like people from two worlds. When I married you, no one blessed us except Grandpa. People around you all felt I didn't match you and was greedy for your wealth."
"What do you think?" Shawn asked, raising his eyebrows.
Norah cocked her head in thought, then replied, "I think that's right!"
"I was too dreamy, always imagining that I'm a princess that will be saved by a prince. But I don't even have a knight. They're right. We're from two worlds."
"Now we have gone back to our own world. Why don't you stay away from me and leave me alone? Why do you still pester me?"
The more Norah said, the more heartbroken she was.
Her tears dripped down. When she tried to wipe them, she found that she wore short sleeves and had no sleeves.
Then, she saw the shirts Shawn wore.
"Come over here a bit!" Norah looked toward him and said.
"What for?" Shawn returned in a bad mood, "Didn't you just say I should stay away from you?"
Although he said so, his body was honest, and he had already taken a big step forward to close to Norah.
Norah hooked her finger again, "It's too far. Come closer."
Shawn stepped much closer again. He was next to the bathtub.
Without thinking much, Norah pulled his shirt and started wiping her tears.
Shawn's face darkened.
