Fated to Love You Again (Shawn and Norah) novel Chapter 165

Chapter 165 The Fatal Tenderness

Three minutes later.

When Norah opened the door and saw Shawn standing outside the door, she was a little surprised.

"Why are you here?"

"Didn't you say you sprained your ankle?" Shawn said.

Originally when he saw her staying with Matthew, he was very angry.

Later, when he heard that she was injured and sprained her ankle, he suddenly lost any anger in his heart.

He just wanted to come up and see her quickly and see how her injury was.

Suddenly, Norah felt light, and the next moment she was picked up by Shawn.

He carried her, walked straight to the sofa, and put her down.

At that moment, Norah felt that he was more familiar with her home than his own home.

And he was so gentle and considerate all of a sudden, which made her really feel flattered.

"Where is the injury? Let me see."

Shawn squatted down and reached out to take off her shoes to check the injury.

Norah hurriedly withdrew her foot and said embarrassedly, "No need. It just hurt a little when I sprained just now. I've seen it. It's not very serious."

"It's not very serious? But how serious is it?"

After saying that, he was still resolute, and grabbed Norah's foot.

His strength was strong and he gripped so tightly that Norah couldn't move at all, so she could only let him take off her slipper.

And then, the sock on the foot.

As soon as the sock was taken off, the wound on her ankle was instantly exposed in front of Shawn.

Almost instantly, his expression became serious, and his voice became deep, "It's so red and swollen, so you still say it's not serious?"

Norah whispered, "I just applied the medicine. It will be fine if the swelling goes away after I wake up tomorrow morning."

"The swelling is so big. Do you really think it will disappear overnight?" Shawn asked back.

Norah, "..."

She touched her nose silently without speaking.

"What medicine did you apply? Let me see." Shawn asked.

Norah pointed to the ointment on the table. Shawn picked it up, glanced at it, and threw it on the table directly.

And then he dialed Anthony's phone number, "Send me some commonly used medicines, and I want the most effective ones. I'm at Norah's home."

After hanging up the phone, Anthony was still thinking about the meaning of the last sentence.

Mr. Lawson was at Miss Norah's home?

I see.

So, the reason why Mr. Lawson couldn't wait to leave today was that he was going to see his wife?

Thinking of this, Anthony immediately became excited. Mr. Lawson and Miss. Norah were going to reconcile, so he must deliver the medicines quickly. He couldn't hold Mr. Lawson back.

Half an hour later, Anthony knocked on the door of Norah's house.

It was Shawn who opened the door. Anthony originally wanted to say hello, but Mr. Lawson took the medicine box and directly closed the door without saying a word.

Anthony was left alone looking at the closed door while signed, "Mr. Lawson, I originally wanted to tell you that the sky is very gloomy, and there may be heavy rain in a while, so please be careful."

But when getting off the elevator, Anthony thought about it in another way, and he was glad he didn't say it.

After half an hour of icing, Norah's foot had less swelling, but it was still very red.

Shawn pressed it and asked, "Does it hurt?"

"It's okay."

However, after a few presses, Norah suddenly couldn't help crying out. "Ouch. It hurts."

And then Shawn explained, "It's so red that it must be painful. The reason you didn’t feel the pain just now was that you had been applying ice compresses. Now that the cold feeling subsides, you will naturally hurt."

"This medicine is very good. I’ll apply some for you, and you can apply it again before going to bed."

"I'll see you off."

They reached the door together. Shawn opened the door and was about to walk out when a thunderstorm suddenly struck down with a particularly loud sound, as if it was going to split the whole sky.

Hearing the sound of thunder, Norah subconsciously covered her ears.

Shawn immediately remembered her fear of thunder and asked, "Are you afraid?"

"A little." Norah said truthfully.

Shawn opened his lips and was about to say, "Or I ......"

But before he finished saying, Norah pursed her lips and said, "But I have to adapt to this sooner or later, and I should not be afraid after a few more experiences."

"It's raining heavily outside. Did you bring an umbrella?"

Shawn shook his head.

"Then wait a minute, and I'll get an umbrella for you, or you'll go downstairs with wet clothes."

"Okay."

At this moment, he really hoped that she could not find the umbrella.

After waiting for a few minutes, Norah came out and looked at him embarrassed, "I seemed to forget to take my umbrella the day I left from your house."

"Is that the only umbrella you have?" Shawn asked.

Norah nodded, "Yeah, I only have one."

The wind howled outside, the rain got heavier and heavier, and even the windows were rattling.

Norah took a look and was very worried.

Suddenly, she thought of something and immediately said, "How about asking Anthony to come here again to send you an umbrella."

Shawn said, "I'll try."

It seemed that Anthony had predicted this, and his phone was off.

Seeing Shawn taking down his phone without saying a word, Norah immediately asked, "What's wrong?"

"His phone was off."
