"I... I'm here to see Mr. Perkins."
"Alright, let me take you up," Everyone at Red Cauldron knew about the special relationship between Beryl and Marcellus. No one stopped her, and their respect for her grew.
" Miss Juliet! Mr. Perkins is having a social event inside. Would you like to come in now?"
She followed Mr. Moore to the VIP private room on the second floor. Her heart was beating so fast that it was almost in her throat. She let out a deep breath and nodded, "Yes."
Only then did Mr. Moore reach out and push the door open. The booming music and the clamor of the crowd flooded in. Beryl instinctively furrowed her brow. In the dim light, she quickly spotted the man sitting in the center of the sofa.
He wore a dark shirt, no tie, the crystal button at the collar left undone, revealing a sexy collarbone. His custom-made suit trousers wrapped perfectly around his straight, powerful legs. The most eye-catching was his deep, chiseled features hidden in the dim light.
Of course, if there wasn't another woman sitting next to him, the visual effect would be even better.
Beryl followed his figure to see the woman, wearing a black sleeveless body-con dress, her voluptuous body on full display, her ample bosom almost pressed against his arm. The small face was stunning, full of femininity.
In comparison, Beryl glanced at her own outfit, a sweatshirt, and jeans, a pair of flat white shoes, like a young student.
"Who is it?"
Someone noticed them and stopped the voice chat to ask.
Then, all eyes in the room turned to her. Beryl, never one to enjoy the spotlight, immediately felt the weight of their gaze.
She nervously took a small step forward, her gaze circling around the faces of the crowd, finally landing back on Marcellus.
