The car quickly arrived at the hospital. Along the way, the two of them chatted and laughed, never having a quiet moment. After briefly glancing through some documents, Marcellus couldn't focus anymore.
With her around, he couldn't concentrate on anything. Just hearing her voice and seeing her face made him forget about work.
As the car stopped at the hospital entrance, Beryl prepared to get off and put on her bag.
Marcellus was a bit reluctant, even though they were going to meet again later in the evening. He couldn't bear to part with her, being clingy.
"You're leaving already?"
"Yeah," Beryl looked at the hospital gate behind her, "I'm at the hospital."
"I know," Marcellus said but didn't let go, "You're leaving just like that, without saying anything to me?"
Looking at him, who seemed reluctant to let go, Beryl was a bit puzzled, "What do you mean?"
Now Marcellus fell silent.
What did he mean?
What could he possibly mean? He just wanted to hear something sweet from her or maybe get a kiss. What else could it be?
Unfortunately, she didn't seem to have any awareness of it at all, and her big eyes were almost filled with questions.
He had no choice but to take the initiative. He embraced her neck and leaned towards her, whispering softly in front of her, "Give me a kiss."
Beryl was speechless.
Beryl's face turned red in an instant, and she quickly glanced at the driver in the front seat. Although he had voluntarily lowered his head, she still felt extremely embarrassed.
"What are you doing? There's someone else here!" She said and forcefully freed herself from Marcellus's grip.
