Marcellus naturally held her small hand, feeling the breeze blowing past him. It was a comfortable and reassuring feeling that he had never experienced on previous dates.
"What do you want to eat later?"
Beryl thought for a moment and couldn't come up with a specific suggestion. "Anything is fine; I'm not picky."
"Give me a general direction."
"How about seafood?"
Marcellus was a little surprised. "Do you have a specific dish in mind?"
"I want to have grilled salmon."
"Okay." Marcellus opened the car door, taking care to protect her head as she got in. He looked at her before sitting in the driver's seat. "If you want it, then let's go."
He happened to know a restaurant that served excellent seafood. He rarely ate seafood himself, and the chef at Red Cauldron had a high level of culinary skill, so he usually chose other cuisines when going out to eat.
The environment of this restaurant was good and romantic.
He didn't expect her to want seafood, and he suddenly felt that she was easy to please.
Marcellus drove them to the restaurant, which required reservations, so there was no queue outside. However, when they entered, the dining hall was fully occupied.
Marcellus was familiar with the owner, who had a separate private room. As soon as he arrived, the owner immediately arranged it for him.
"Please serve the dishes as usual and add a portion of grilled salmon," Marcellus ordered.
The waiter, showing utmost respect, diligently recorded the order and asked, "Mr. Perkins, how would you like the salmon prepared?"
Marcellus glanced at Beryl, who immediately replied, "Grilled salmon, please."
"Okay, please wait a moment."
