"Don't stare at me like that. The first injection won't work." The man seemed to be talking about the good weather today. His tone was particularly leisurely as if her life and death were just a snap of his fingers.
Indeed, it happened in an instant. In front of such an inhuman beast, even if she died, they would not blink.
Stacey tried her best to support her upper body and asked, "Who the hell are you? Why did you kidnap me?"
The man remained silent. Instead, he turned around, picked up the tray again, and walked straight out of the room.
Stacey couldn't understand him at all. Five minutes later, a strong middle-aged man appeared at the door.
She frowned and wiped the sweat off her forehead. "Who are you?"
"Stacey? Mrs. Hood?" It seemed that they respected her very much, but it was more like they were confirming a fact.
"How did you know about me?"
The man walked to the sofa next to her and sat down. He looked at the woman lying on the ground and asked, "According to the recent reports, you're very close to Marcellus?"
Stacey was in a daze when she suddenly heard Marcellus's name.
She immediately sobered up a little. "Marcellus?"
At first, she thought that she might have offended some people she couldn't afford to offend in the recent rumors, but now it seemed that they were not as simple as she thought.
"That's right, Marcellus." The man smiled, put his hands on his knees, and bent down to look at her. "Do you think Marcellus is just a simple businessman?"
