Chapter 223 I Want to Go Out and Relax 

Evelyn almost didn’t sleep all night. She had been crying all day. At the end of her crying, her eyes were painful, but she still couldn’t stop crying. She didn’t want to continue crying, but the whole person fell into sadness and couldn’t get rid of it. 

The next day, when she got up, the pillow under her had not dried yet. She walked into the bathroom and looked at her pale face in the mirror. The corners of her mouth twitched weakly.

Suddenly, her phone rang. She deliberately raised her voice to the maximum for fear of missing any call. Evelyn quickly picked it up and saw the caller ID on the screen, but it was not the person she hoped for the most in her heart. 

After a pause, the phone was connected, and the clear and impatient voice of Grace came. “I can’t stand it. I really can’t stand it anymore. My father was crazy again today. He keeps annoying me!” 

Evelyn was uneasy and emotionless. “What’s wrong?” 

“It’s still about work. He always wants to manipulate me. I’m a human being, not a tool. Can’t I decide what I want to do when I’m 24?!” Grace was so annoyed that she wanted to shout out loud. “If I’m annoyed, I’ll go on vacation. No one can find me. Let them worry!”

When Grace heard that she was going to pack her luggage, she opened his mouth and closed it again. She only said, “Then be careful on the way.”

At nine o’clock in the morning, Evelyn tidied up her suitcase, went back to the living room, and looked at her mobile phone on the table. It was still empty. There was no text message or call. 

She put down her phone numbly, turned around, and walked to the door with her luggage. Step by step, she closed the door and left the room quiet.

luxurious.
