Chapter 284 Did You Touch Her?
In a panic, Evelyn told him the address. The man kept tugging at her, and she accidentally hung up the phone.
Grace had been waiting for a long time but didn’t expect to
see such a scene in the corridor.
She rushed over and pulled the man’s hand away. “What are you doing?”
The man’s action was interrupted, and he was about to get angry, but his gaze shifted and landed on the beautiful face of Grace. The vulgar words at the tip of his tongue turned
into flirtation. “Oh, two beauties. Perfect timing, let’s play together.”
The man reached out, and Grace slapped it away. “Get lost!”
“Humph, get lost? I’ll make you unable to resist later!”
Seeing that he couldn’t succeed with them, the man turned
sideways and signaled to another companion standing behind. The latter understood and came over, half dragging
and half pulling Evelyn and Grace inside.
Things like this were very common in bars. Everyone was
Evelyn was so drunk that her body was so weak that she couldn’t use any strength. Just as she was about to be
dragged into the room, she opened her mouth and was about to give him a hard bite. Suddenly, a sharp cold wind passed
behind her, and she saw a black shadow. Then, the man who
was holding her hand staggered and fell.
The man was caught off guard. He only felt a burning pain in
his stomach. A huge force kicked down his whole body, and his tailbone hit the ground as if it were cracking.
The man who had just been arrogantly teasing Evelyn and Grace was now cowering on the ground, disregarding his image. He reluctantly looked up to see who it was, but his gaze only managed to touch the person before he was so frightened that he almost wet his pants.
“Mr. Lloyd?”
He even knew who he was.
“Did you touch her?” Huston’s lips parted slightly. These few
words had successfully caused the man to freeze on the spot.
He endured the pain and lay down. “No, no, I didn’t… Ah!”
Before he could finish his explanation, Huston had already
punched the man in the face. His fist was so hard that the man’s nose breaking could be heard.
The music in the bar continued playing without interruption,
and several other customers nearby were discreetly observing
the situation. The bar manager and security guards stood to the side, hesitant to intervene, not because they didn’t want to stop it but because they were afraid to do so.
Everyone in Jewel City knew what kind of person Huston was, especially in places like bars. Due to the somewhat shady nature of the business, the boss repeatedly emphasized to the employees that it was okay not to recognize anyone except for
this man.
Even if he demolished this place, the boss probably wouldn’t
dare to come out and fart.
Huston repeatedly punched the man as though he wanted to smash the man into a pile of mud. Blood flowed from the man’s nose and mouth, and Huston only stopped when the
man fainted.
In adults, intellect and strategy were valued, and Huston.
had always looked down upon using physical force to
