Chapter 670 Lucas Will Be Fine.
The other side answered quickly, with a steady tone, “Hello?”
“Lucas is missing,” Evelyn told him directly.
For a moment, the man’s voice and breath disappeared on the phone. The next second, it became heavy and clearly suppressed, about to burst with emotions. “When did it
happen?”
Upon hearing his question, Evelyn’s last glimmer of hope
shattered. If it wasn’t Huston, then who could have taken their
child?
Evelyn couldn’t believe it was a random occurrence. It must
have been someone she knew or someone who knew her.
“Just now, downstairs from my home,” Evelyn recalled Lucy’s
words, and the tightly wound nerve snapped. She couldn’t
help but choke up as she continued, “My mother said he

there, wait for me.”
“Okay.” Evelyn closed her eyes, and teardrops the size of
beans fell on her knees. “Hurry up and come.”
A fierce determination surged through Huston’s heart. He
worried about Lucas’s safety and felt immense pain for
Evelyn. He vowed to tear apart the person who took Lucas.
“Alright.”

journey, but just as she arrived, Huston also arrived
downstairs in his car.
It was hard to imagine how fast he had driven, surely risking
his life.
Lucy and Ben were wiping their tears in front of the building. Even the man, who rarely shed tears, couldn’t hold back and
started crying. “Evelyn, you’re here.”
“Mom, Dad, don’t cry. Nothing will happen to Lucas,” Evelyn’s comforting words didn’t have much effect because even she
