Seeing his tiny body full of vitality running towards Huston, she stumbled and finally threw herself into the man's arms.
The two of them, one big and one small, lowered their heads and the other looked up. The scene was so beautiful that it could be photographed.
She quickened her pace and walked over. The steak, salad, soup, and other cold dishes were on the table and each of them was exquisite. As soon as she walked in, she smelled the fragrance.
In the middle of the table, there was a candle stand with two short and one long white candles inserted in it. Below the candle stand was a golden gilded layer, and there were champagne roses decorated beside her hands. From the balcony, she could see the scattered lights not far away. The night scene was beautiful, and the food was also good.
Especially now that the relationship between them had changed. Even their eyes were full of mutual understanding.
This meal should be the most comfortable one she had ever had in all these years. She had no other concerns. The child was by her side, and the person she had been missing was also by her side.
During the meal, Lucas seemed to have thought of something and suddenly asked the man beside him, " Mr. Lloyd, can I take some of these flowers?"
Huston had never refused the request of Lucas, but this time, for the first time, she did not agree. "Mr. Lloyd sent this to your mom. You have to ask her."
These words unconsciously shortened the distance between the three of them.
Her hand that was holding the tableware trembled. She smiled and said, "If you like them, find a few fresh ones and bring them back. They look good in a vase."
When Lucas heard this, he immediately ran out of his chair to look for her. Evelyn called out to him, "You're not eating?"
"I am full!"
