Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 999

Chapter 999 If I Wanted to Kill You, I Wouldn't Have Waited Until Now

Evelyn didn't know how many times she had woken up in a daze. Her whole body was tied up with thick ropes, her body was fixed to the car's back seat, and her mouth was sealed with black tape. Just as she felt she was about to die, the car stopped moving.

The car door was opened, and fresh air poured in. She desperately tried to take a breath but could only manage slow, stifled breaths. She felt extremely suffocated.

Before she could raise her head to look outside, a huge hood suddenly covered her head. Her vision instantly darkened, and she couldn't even see a trace of light.

"Umm!"

Ignoring her voice, the two men roughly dragged her out of the car, put their hands under her arms, and lifted her up with a little force.

There were occasional protruding stones tripping her up under her feet. She couldn't see the path, and her steps were almost floating. With every stumble, her heart would skip a beat.

After walking for an unknown time, Evelyn heard the sound of the door opening in front of her, and then she was pushed out. Her legs went soft, and she fell to her knees with a plop, and her knees were numb.

Evelyn couldn't see with her eyes, but her senses were unusually sharp. She could feel someone approaching her, even though their footsteps were light.

She held her breath. The next second, the mask on her head was removed, and the bright light shone on her face. She suppressed her discomfort and fear and opened her eyes. The man was squatting in front of her and looking at her with a smirk.

"Are you afraid?"

There was no concern in his words at all but more like a kind of stimulation.

Evelyn frowned and looked around vigilantly. Compared with the previous villa, the air here was more humid. It was either near the sea or deep in the mountains and forests.
