Surprisingly, it was Ashlee.
She held her head high, "What? Am I a demon? See how scared you are. You don't invite me in?"
Clara could not guess her intention. How dare she come? Nothing good would happen for her to come uninvited.
"What are you doing here?"
"Why can't I be here? I came to visit my sister."
Ashlee naturally walked in on her own and sat down on the sofa. Seeing that there were still cups and saucers on the table, she thought someone had come here.
Ashlee acted as if she was the mistress. "Isn't there even a cup of tea for a guest? Do you know any manners? You rude girl."
Clara had to close the door and walk over to Ashlee. "Well, what do you want to do?"
Ashlee suddenly snickered, "Who is looking for you? I'm here to see Mr. Kirkland. You'd better mind your own business. Pour the tea! "
As expected, Ashlee dared to come here because of Horace. Otherwise, how else would she have the guts to do so?
Clara was impatient. "You'd better hurry up and leave. Horace isn't here."
"Not here?" Ashlee found the room was quiet, but she still had no intention of leaving, "Fine, I'll just wait for him."
After saying that, she sat down on the sofa and touched the leather, saying sarcastically, "It is not bad. Handmade in Italy? You've really become a phoenix now."
Clara wanted to drive her away, but she gave up when she thought of Ashlee as Horace's lifesaver, in case she would see it as a handle.
Ashlee looked around at the house.
Although this residence was not as big as her villa, it was luxuriously decorated. As for the crystal chandelier in the living room, she could tell from the glossiness at a glance that each bead was high-grade crystal.
Her jealousy could not even be concealed.
How could Clara, the illegitimate daughter, have the right to live in such a lovely place?
Clara brewed a new pot of hot tea and poured a cup for Ashlee.
Ashlee squinted at her, raised her head and said, "Seeing how you pour the tea, you look like a nanny's kid, very professional. Haha."
"Please."
