It eventually turned into a scene in which Lena taught Gideon to cook.
Although they cooked slowly, the result at least looked presentable.
Lena scooped a spoonful of borscht into a bowl and tasted it. "The borscht seems not bad... Oh my god!"
Before she could finish her sentence, she quickly stood up and rushed into the toilet.
Gideon looked in shock at the borscht in the bowl. Had the dish he made been so unpalatable?
He hurriedly followed, anxiously supporting Lena's back. "Are you okay?"
Lena felt so nauseous that she almost vomited all the water she had drunk overnight. After a while, she managed to stand up with Gideon's support.
She shook her head. "I'm fine."
"I'll hire a professional servant to help," Gideon said, furrowing his brow. Lena was in a special period now and couldn't withstand the unpalatable dishes he made.
Before Lena could say something, she continued to vomit.
Gideon felt that something was wrong, so he lifted Lena. "I'll take you to the hospital!"
Without waiting for Lena to object, he rushed to the hospital with her in his arms.
The doctor, seeing his anxious face, initially thought something major had happened. After diagnosing Lena, the doctor became speechless.
"Morning sickness is a normal phenomenon for pregnant women. There's no need to be overly concerned."
Gideon bombarded the doctor with questions, leaving the doctor helpless. Every novice dad would make such mistakes, but the doctor was secretly pleased that Gideon cared for Lena.
Coming out of the hospital, Lena suddenly regained her appetite. "I want to eat Tomahawk steak."
