Charlotte was astonished, "Milne?"
Wearing a radiant smile, Telma in her arms echoed, "Daddy!"
Telma was Milne's child!
This revelation left Charlotte utterly surprised. She never expected such a coincidental twist in the world.
"Mr. Kerson! You can't blame me for this! These two came up here and tried to take Telma away. I had no choice but to make a scene," she quickly explained, rushing to Milne's side.
Milne coldly presented his phone screen, saying, "Is that so?"
He opened the surveillance video on his phone, revealing an image of Telma playing outside the garden while the nanny sat nearby, engrossed in her phone.
Telma had run over, telling the nanny she was thirsty and wanted water. Irritating by the interruption, the nanny waved her hand impatiently, instructing Telma to go to the front desk and ask for water herself. Telma, feeling helpless, left on her own.
After viewing the surveillance footage, the nanny turned pale as a sheet.
She never dreamed that her actions had been so thoroughly captured on camera.
Just as she was about to argue her case persistently, Milne walked up to the woman she had offended and called out, "Boss."
Her entire body went limp, realizing she had run out of chances and had to give up her resistance, letting the security personnel drag her away.
Once the nanny left, Charlotte finally looked curiously at Milne, "Telma is your daughter?"
Milne lowered his gaze to Telma, his eyes filled with affection. "Yes."
He gently patted Telma's head and said in a warm voice, "Why don't you say thank you? If it weren't for this young lady happening to encounter you, you might have gotten lost."
