After the initial flurry, Joe quickly learned how to take care of a baby. He could even have a video conference with the company while helping the child change into diapers without batting an eyelid.
Perhaps this child was fated with Joe. In the few days that he took over, the child did not cry loudly. Instead, he was very obedient.
In addition to eating and sleeping every day, she didn't even hum much.
Old Mr. Clinton was dumbfounded. He even wondered if Joe had put some kind of curse on the child. Why was the child so obedient in his hands?
No matter what, this week of taking care of the child had indeed given Joe a lot of different feelings.
For various reasons, he missed the childhood of Ben and Anna. Although they were very sensible and lovely now, they had not experienced the first period. It was indeed a pity for Joe.
But the appearance of this child made up his past regrets.
"Did she have a name?"
On the fourth day of taking care of the child, Joe came to the study of Old Mr. Clinton with the child in his arms and happened to see Sir Smith flipping through the dictionary.
Old Mr. Clinton snorted. "Of course it's me to name her!"
Joe quickly glanced at the scattered A4 papers on the table, and he could vaguely see many crossed names on them.
He immediately understood.
"Let's call it Diane." Old Mr. Clinton suddenly said, "This child's fate was not very good before she was born. I hope she will be happy from now on."
Whether her father went to jail or her mother went away, it was very cruel for a child. Fortunately, she still had her family to rely on. She hoped that her life would be smooth in the future.
