Looking at the familiar yet strange photo in front of him, Joe couldn't help but take a step forward.
Charlotte did not make a sound to disturb him. Instead, she stood quietly beside him, looked at his parents' photos, and then lowered her head.
She followed his gaze and saw a bunch of orchids and red roses in front of the tombstone.
"This is?" Charlotte looked at Joe in confusion.
As far as she knew, no one should have come to help his parents sweep the grave.
Joe didn't take it to heart. "Grandpa doesn't say anything but has been secretly sending people to keep an eye on this place. They must have put it here."
In the past, Joe had always thought that he would be very resistant to seeing his parents' tombstones. However, when he stood here, he realized that he had long walked out of the haze of the past, and his hatred for his parents was no longer that deep.
He knelt down in front of his parents' grave and kowtowed three times.
Seeing him like this, Charlotte also kowtowed three times.
Joe looked at her deeply. "Actually, you don't have to do this."
Charlotte smiled faintly. "Aren't we getting married soon? Why don't you let me behave well when we visit our parents in advance?"
Joe looked at her in silence for a long time before chuckling.
"Don't worry, my Dad and Mom will definitely like you very much." Joe even felt that there shouldn't be anyone in this world who didn't like Charlotte.
After paying their respects to his parents, Charlotte took Joe to the mall.
"Do you have anything you want to buy?" Joe looked at her curiously. Most of their clothes were directly sent to their home by brands or custom-made, and they rarely went shopping together.
