Jack didn't know about the dispute between Vicky and Rosa. Even if he knew about it, he wouldn't take it seriously.
Coming out of the elevator, he was surprised to see Mandy sitting on the sofa.
Sensing Jack's gaze, Mandy stood up and smiled at him from a distance.
Jack, who always remained calm and professional in front of everyone, quickly walked up to Mandy and hugged her.
At that moment, Mandy felt that everyone in the hall was looking at her.
It was awkward.
Jack knew they were in the hall, so he restrained his emotions and led Mandy to the sofa in the corner.
"Why are you here?" Jack asked while glancing at the receptionist with sharp eyes.
The receptionist, who was happily typing on her phone, paused. She smiled awkwardly at Jack, turned her chair to face the computer, and pretended to work seriously.
Mandy saw the scene and mocked, "I didn't expect you to be quite authoritative in the company."
Jack shook his head. "If I didn't stop her, I'm afraid everyone in the company would know that I hugged you in the hall before we got off work today."
Although he didn't mind everyone knowing that he had a girlfriend, he would not tell anyone without Mandy's consent.
Hearing what Jack said, Mandy was moved, and the smile on her face deepened. "It doesn't matter. They will know later."
"Let's talk about it later..." Jack was halfway through his retort when he suddenly looked at Mandy in shock. "What do you mean by this?"
He looked at Mandy's face as he tried to suppress his expectation.
Mandy smiled relaxedly. "I took a long-term job in the country."
Jack was overjoyed.
