……
Flora watched her leave and quickly broke away from the kiss.
She placed her hands on Connor's chest and put some distance between them.
"Bro... brother?"
She called him that on purpose. Normally, Connor would have been thrilled, but since Libby had just called him that, the term now made him feel a bit queasy.
"We're not close... don't be mad..."
He was worried Flora might think he was involved with other women.
"Try getting close and see what happens," Flora huffed lightly.
"I wouldn't dare."
Connor replied obediently, relieved to see she wasn't angry.
"Ahem, Flora, I'm fine now. You two chat; I'll head back to the dorm."
Kaylee coughed lightly, her cheeks still flushed.
After all, she was still single and found the couple’s interaction rather embarrassing.
"It's almost noon. Let's grab lunch together before heading back."
"No, I'm not that hungry. I'll just get something from the cafeteria on my way."
She knew when to give the couple some space.
Flora understood she probably wasn't in the mood to eat and nodded, "Go rest, and call me if you need anything."
"Okay." Kaylee nodded obediently, feeling a pang of envy as she looked at Flora, "It's so good to have you as a friend."
Having Flora as a friend was the greatest blessing of her life.
After she left, Connor also got into the back seat of the car.
Moss had just come out from the office building and took the driver's seat.
Connor and Flora headed to their usual restaurant for lunch.
As they got out of the car at the restaurant, Moss went to park.
"Wait!"
