The next morning, Connor and Flora left the island together. In the car, Flora absently played with her phone.

Dr. Ray hadn’t mentioned Flora's leave to Raul and Henrik, so they were still clueless about her absence. They assumed Flora had spent the entire weekend with Connor. At the moment, they were airing their grievances in the group chat.

Having looked forward to the weekend, they were disappointed that Flora had spent all her time with Connor, neglecting to visit them. "Women, they grow up and forget their roots!" they lamented.

Connor arranged for Moss and Beck to drop Flora off at the University of Maple Grove before heading back to Shallow Bay. They arrived at 8:56 AM. Connor handed her his jacket: "Should I pick you up for lunch?"

"I need to check with my brother first."
