Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 653

Orla caught Flora making her move out of the corner of her eye. She sneered to herself, thinking it was way too late to start now. Flora had never been a threat to her, and after wasting so much time, she was surely doomed.

Orla didn’t give Flora a second thought, focusing back on her own stitching. The crowd seemed to agree with her. Flora had wasted precious time, and starting now was just a recipe for failure. They sighed and cast disappointed glances her way. They had thought Flora might surprise everyone this year, but it looked like she was just average after all.

But then, in the blink of an eye, everything changed. The crowd was left speechless!

On stage, Flora's hands moved with incredible speed. Her pale fingers, almost glowing in the sunlight, held the scalpel with a steady precision. In a mere moment, she had finished stitching the first egg and was already moving on to the second. She didn't even seem to realize how extraordinary her actions were, her eyes half-lidded with nonchalance, every movement a graceful dance.

Orla heard the gasps around her and frowned. She felt all eyes on Flora and couldn't resist looking over herself. Her eyes widened in shock.

How could she be so fast? In just a short while, Flora had already stitched two eggs and was starting on the third. She was catching up to her, her speed at least ten times faster. And the eggs—after Flora's stitching, they looked untouched!

Orla could never achieve this, even with ten more years of practice. Flora glanced up, meeting Orla's eyes with a knowing smile. Orla's hand shook, and the egg's membrane broke, spilling its contents all over the table. Her face turned pale as she hurriedly looked away.

Don't panic... don't panic... she told herself, trying to calm the storm inside her. She cleaned up the mess quickly and picked up another egg. But how could she not panic? Her mind was filled with images of Flora's incredible performance.
