Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 656

"Flora, you've been keeping such a low profile! Even now, when I think about yesterday's competition, my heart's still racing with excitement and awe!"

"Me too, me too!"

A bunch of senior students gathered around Flora, chattering away excitedly. At the entrance, Alexa clenched her fists, her face twisted with jealousy.

...

After lunch, Flora headed back to her dorm to grab a few things.

It was prime time on campus, and everyone who saw her stared at her with admiration and respect. They followed her wherever she went!

After all, seeing a real-life idol was a rare opportunity!

This led to—

For the first time in University of Maple Grove’s history, the campus was so packed you could barely walk through the corridors!

Flora was a bit annoyed; she just wanted to get back to her dorm to fetch something... A fifteen-minute walk ended up taking her half an hour.

She hadn't mentioned to Eilies and Cynthia that she was coming back, so they were probably out for lunch. After grabbing her stuff, she headed out, bumping into Libby at the stairwell, who was carrying a takeout box.

Seeing Flora, Libby's face went pale, and she immediately turned and ran, losing one of her slippers in the process.

Flora raised an eyebrow. Was she really that intimidating?

In the afternoon, Dr. Ray gave them the rest of the day off, so Flora went straight back to the Irving family’s residence.

Just as she left the campus, her phone rang. It was Crimson: "Flora, darling, you’re incredible. The whole internet is in stitches over how the medical organization lost to the University of Maple Grove. The higher-ups in the medical organization are so angry they’re sick, and Mr. Yue got punished as soon as he got back."

Flora's lips curled up into a smile.

Just then, a commotion erupted across the street.

"Hey, kid! Stop running and get back here!"

"As if I'd stop, you old fool!"

A young guy, dressed in hip-hop gear with a red bandana on his head, probably not even twenty, was running like crazy, taunting his pursuers.

Behind him were seven or eight guys about his age, all carrying bats.

"Ah, sorry about that." The young man, while running, accidentally knocked over an old man's fruit stand. He quickly apologized and threw a wad of cash on the stand: "Keep the change, I'm paying for the damages!"
