"Why aren't the results out yet?"
"Seriously, they should've been announced by now, right?"
Everyone was puzzled, whispering among themselves.
...
Backstage.
Thirty teachers, split into three rows, were grading papers on computers. The competitors' answers were displayed on their screens for scoring.
"Hey, everyone, come check out this paper," one of the teachers suddenly exclaimed loudly.
Two teachers sitting next to him leaned over, curiosity piqued, and soon furrowed their brows too.
"These formulas are so strange. I can understand them when they're broken down, but when I look at them separately, they just don't make sense."
Hearing this, the other teachers who had been focused on grading gathered around, intrigued.
"Is this just gibberish?"
A group of teachers, hunched over, stared at the screen, all with tightly knit brows. The formulas and methods of answering were odd. They had reason to suspect it was all just written haphazardly.
"Could it be that a contestant, not knowing how to solve it, just scribbled something down?"
"I think so too. With the difficulty of these questions, very few of the competitors could solve them."
Let alone these competitors, even they might not be able to solve them.
"Oh well, let's not dwell on it. Just mark it wrong. It clearly looks like gibberish."
