Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 875

"Not at all," Flora replied with a warm smile, letting out a gentle laugh.

...

Over at the Reyes family, there was still a lot to sort out. Connor left a team to help clean up the mess and then took Flora back to the villa.

Flora was lost in her thoughts, staying silent on the drive back.

Raul and Henrik exchanged quiet glances. Her silence left them at a loss for words.

Were they the reason Flora wasn't saying anything? Was she upset because they had hidden things from her?

Their nerves were on edge.

Truth be told, they were unsure how to move forward with Flora.

They had kept secrets, and Flora had uncovered them.

She now knew they weren't her biological family. So, what now?

Their minds were heavy with these concerns, and their steps were slow and burdened.

Back at the villa, they made their way upstairs to the bedrooms.

Flora probably didn't want to see them, so heading straight to their rooms seemed like the best idea.

That's when Flora picked up on their mood. She realized her demeanor had given them the wrong impression.

"I didn't have lunch. I'm starving," she suddenly announced.

"What do you feel like eating?" Connor asked.

It was already past two in the afternoon. She had been at the Reyes place causing a commotion since before ten and hadn't eaten a thing.

No wonder she was hungry.

"I don't want anything you make," Flora said as she flopped onto the couch, calling out to Raul and Henrik, who were about to enter their rooms at the top of the stairs. "I want Dad's sweet and sour pork chops!"

She made sure her voice was loud enough for Raul and Henrik to hear.

Their hands froze on the doorknobs.

"And I want the watermelon juice my brother makes!"
