"Check out their faces, they're on the verge of tears, haha! Clearly, they've gone and hired some no-name coach," Luke sneered, glancing at Andy and the crew who looked like they were carrying the weight of the world. He couldn't help but chuckle smugly, already picturing how he'd rib them later.
Riley snorted as well. A no-name coach, yet all dancing to his tune? Everyone still thought he was some high-up in the TM Club, with a bit of clout in the racing scene. Just a word from him to that coach, and they'd ditch the Reyes family in a heartbeat.
He'd made it clear before: mess with him, and he'd make sure the Reyes family had a hard time, at least in racing circles. They'd be scraping the barrel to find a coach willing to work with them.
As they neared the entrance, they spotted seven or eight tall guys hanging around outside the Reyes family's door, all masked up, making it tricky to see their faces.
They were dressed in basic black puffer jackets and gray sweatpants—nothing fancy or designer about them. Hmm, looking so plain, they must be nobodies. And young too—how much skill could they really have?
Yet, Riley felt a twinge of familiarity. Especially the guy at the front—he looked a lot like... Youth. The big shot of the TM Club. But he quickly shook off the crazy thought. What would someone like Youth be doing here?
With that thought, his gaze turned a bit scornful.
"Boss, why are they staring at us like that?"
The men outside caught the unfriendly looks, and a young guy munching on chips nudged the guy next to him—Youth.
Youth frowned, not liking the vibe either.
Just then, Adrian and his group strode out quickly.
Youth's eyes immediately landed on Flora at the back, and he lit up, "Will—"
Flora gave the tiniest shake of her head.
