Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 918

TM's top coach couldn't get through to him, and when the young lady tried her hand, he was even more flustered.

"Relax," Flora said, draping her arm over the car door, her voice leisurely and calm. "Just follow my lead when the time comes."

"Huh?" the boy blinked, caught off guard.

Flora gestured for him to start driving. "In about fifty meters, there’s a curve. You struggle with these because your car sways too much and you're slow to counter-steer. This is costing you two to three extra seconds, maybe even more..."

Flora's voice was soothing yet clear, filling the car with a gentle authority. The boy slowly realized she was actually coaching him!

Flora broke everything down in detail, using professional terms but in a way that felt surprisingly easy to grasp—more so than his coach ever managed!

The boy was astonished, and as they approached the curve, he didn't have time to ponder. He quickly maneuvered the car.

He eased off the gas, tapped the brakes lightly, and turned the wheel sixty degrees, the car swaying broadly as it negotiated the curve and hit the open road.

His instinct was to speed up, but Flora's voice came in again. "Stop the car."

Without thinking, he did.

"Reverse," she instructed.

"What?" He was baffled.

"I said, reverse."

Seeing his bewildered expression, Flora rubbed her temples, feeling her patience thin. She'd laid it out so clearly, yet he was still in the dark.

Confused but compliant, the boy did as Flora said.

Meanwhile, Adrian and the rest of the Reyes family racing team watched, jaws practically on the floor, as the car halted and then began moving backward.

"What's going on? Why's he reversing?" They were utterly confused.
