She had an audition lined up, and this mob of fans could really throw a wrench in her plans.

Her assistant stretched his neck to get a better look. "Aisha, I don't think—"

"Don't think what?" Aisha snapped, clearly irritated. "We'll take the VIP exit. Get some bodyguards to cover me from all angles, or else they'll swarm me."

The assistant, trying to keep his cool, said, "Aisha, they're not here for us."

Aisha's expression froze, feeling like she'd been smacked in the face.

The assistant handed her a phone. "Today’s the day global champ Flora returns. See? Twitter's blowing up about her."

Hearing Flora's name brought back memories of how she almost derailed Aisha's career in showbiz.

Her mood soured, but she couldn't resist peeking at the phone.
