Truthfully, I couldn’t stop smiling. I love him so much that it felt strange. I’ve never wanted anything or anyone so much like this. I thought that this journey would make me learn more about him, so I was more than slightly surprised that it also made me learn a lot more about myself. After gazing and getting a little lost in his beautiful blue eyes, I leaned down and kissed him squarely on the lips. We’ve kissed so many times already, but it just didn’t feel like it was enough.

“You better stop doing that,” Reiner muttered as he broke our kiss and looked away from me.

“Why?” I asked in confusion.

“I don’t think your body can take another round right now…” Reiner muttered warningly.

“Oh…” I murmured before I started blushing at his words.

Unfortunately, I had to admit that he was probably right. I giggled a little at his words before rolling off of him. I cuddled his large and heavy arm in mine instead as I pressed my body up against his side. At that moment, I felt like I would be fully satisfied if I could just spend my entire life in bed with Reiner.

True to his words, Reiner came to pick me up every morning after that. We went to work together in the morning and then we spent the whole day together at work. After work, Reiner drove me back to my place or to the bar if I had to work there. After I had wrapped up my work for the day at the bar, he drove me back to my place.

“Did you wait long?” I asked.

Reiner was leaning casually on his car as he waited for me to come down from my apartment in the morning. It was another workday and after almost a week of implementing our new routine, we were starting to get used to it. Honestly, I enjoyed this new rhythm of my life immensely and it was mostly due to the fact that I got to spend so much time with Reiner. It made me feel like we were really a couple. Although he was still officially engaged to another girl, my mind didn’t have any problem sweeping that inconvenient issue under the rug when I saw him smiling at me every morning like this.

I’ll deal with all that sooner or later…

Being very closer to Reiner for most parts of the day and night made it very difficult for me to resist teasing him. It was quite strange at first but soon we reverted to how it sort of used to be between us when we were back at Lucien’s mansion. However, he was still my boss at work, and we had a lot of work to do on our project. That didn’t mean that I couldn’t find the time to tease him at work.
