Chapter 11 Sleep caused trouble
Staring at Claire Bennett's sleep, Leo Howard wants to push her head. But when he lowers his head, he touches the wound on her forehead. He immediately takes back his hand.
Forget it, let this woman sleep for a while...
Claire Bennett is awakened by Leo Howard. She sees Leo Howard's unusually beautiful face as soon as she looks up. They catch eyes of each other. When Claire Bennett realizes that, she got red in the face.
Claire Bennett quickly sits up, while the driver comes to a sudden brake, so she falls to Leo Howard with her hand just presses on his...
Claire Bennett immediately withdraws her hand, and stutters, "I, I didn’t mean it, really..."
God, she just sleeps, and it causes such a disaster!
"You didn’t mean it? Does your mother seduce men like this?" Leo Howard slowly approaches Claire Bennett, disdainfully says.
Claire Bennett's original blushing face suddenly becomes pale. She bites her lip and says, "I really didn’t mean it. In addition, my mother is not such a person!"
“Hmm!” Leo Howard sneers, “Your mother is that kind of person, I already knew it!”
Leo Howard looks at Claire Bennett coldly and makes Claire Bennett very uncomfortable. She turns her head and looks out the window, no longer looking at him, nor expects him to give her a little gentleness.
After a while, they arrive at the Bennett’s house.
Claire Bennett takes off the car first, followed by Leo Howard.
Pushing the big iron gate, Claire Bennett walks in under the servants’ surprised eyesight and asks, "Where is my stepmother?"
"Her Ladyship is in the garden."
As expected by Claire Bennett.
After knowing where Jade Patton is now, Claire Bennett is not in a hurry. She turns around and asks the servant to arrange a seat and tea for Leo Howard, and then says to him, "I will go to my stepmother first. You sit here and take a rest!"
Leo Howard doesn't pay attention to Claire Bennett, and he turns around and finds a seat to sit down.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
