“You!”
Claire says angrily, but she doesn’t know how to refute Leo.
Leo is right. After Tracy’s recommendation, she was hired directly. She hasn’t read the employee handbook at all and doesn’t know there is such a rule.
This time she is miserable!
Claire is helpless and angry, but she can only pick up the resignation letter and turn around to leave.
“Wait a minute.”
As Claire walks halfway, Leo says slowly. Hearing his voice, Claire turns angrily and says, “what?”
Leo is very happy to see Claire’s angry face, but he solemnly orders, “be ready after work. Tomorrow we are going to City B on business!”
Leo reminds Claire of their business trip!
But to prevent the last thing from happening again, Claire says unhappily, “if you stand me up this time and don’t call me in advance, I won’t go on business again!”
Leo nods.
Claire turns around and goes out. The day passes. Claire comes home from work at night. She simply packs up and lies in bed thinking.
There seems to be traces of Juan lying on the bed. He hasn’t called her since he left last night and hasn’t contacted her.
Claire can’t help but wonder if she hurts him so much that he doesn’t want to contact her anymore.
They are all back home and they should celebrate. They can eat together. Why do they become what they are now?
Claire turns over and is angry. It’s all emotional fault! If only there are not so much love in the world!
Thinking of this, Claire thinks of Leo’s deep love for Tracy. She feels a little depressed and reluctant.
Not everyone in the world can find a happy love. They have to love each other.
Claire thinks vaguely and falls asleep. When the alarm clock rings the next day, she stands in front of the mirror and is upset. In the end, she dresses up normally.
Now that Leo has discovered her real identity, she doesn’t have to go on pretending. What’s more, she finds it troublesome to make herself ugly every day.
Leo is more reliable than last time. He comes to Claire’s apartment and picks her up. When Leo sees Claire dresses normally, he can’t help but chuckle.
She is wearing a white T-shirt and slim jeans. Her hair is tied up at will. Although she is not as amazing as she was when she went out, Leo is very satisfied with her appearance.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
