“You are insane!” Just as Leo finishes, Claire’s heart beat can’t help speeding up half a beat. Her eyes are inexplicably guilty. She falters, “I don’t like you! I’ve said it several times. I can’t like you! I won’t be jealous because you’re with other women!”
With that, Leo suddenly chuckles. He approaches Claire and can’t help kissing her. He looks at her with deep eyes and says, “I didn’t say you are jealous, but you admit it yourself. You just like me.”
“This is...” Leo’s attitude has changed too much. His rage turns to gentleness. The change leaves Claire at a loss. Her brain is blank.
Leo sees Claire’s embarrassment. He smiles smugly and regains the look of two days ago. He says positively, “Claire, you just like me.”
“I don’t!” Claire counters subconsciously.
At the same time, she dodges back warily and wants to keep a distance from Leo. Leo is so strange that she can’t get used to it at all.
In these days, Leo has been cold to her since the last time Leo asked her to be his mistress and Claire refused him.
The next day he dated Fiona. The next morning he came to her room and kissed her. After she refused, Leo angrily targeted her in the mall and questioned her in the restaurant.
Claire thinks Leo is crazy to do these things, but now Leo suddenly tells her that she likes him.
Claire thinks Leo is really crazy.
Claire can’t help but reach out and touch Leo’s forehead. Its temperature is normal. She mutters to herself, “you don’t have a fever. Where did you hit your brain and get damaged?”
Claire’s words make Leo angry. He looks at Claire without saying a word and kisses her deeply. After the kiss, Leo hugs her tightly but doesn’t go on.
They hug each other across the sheet. It’s a strange feeling. The atmosphere is a bit awkward. Claire pushes Leo and curiously asks, “Leo, you don’t have a fever or get kicked in the brain. Do you have a physiological period these days? You are so cruel. You did that to me in the morning!”
Leo is not indifferent to Claire now. Hearing Claire’s words, he chuckles and smiles, “you want to know?”
“Yes.” Claire nods.
“Then kiss me.”
“...”
Claire’s face is black. Leo does it again.
“No?” Leo seems to be in a better mood. He lies on his side beside Claire. He supports his head with one hand and holds Claire in his arms with the other.
Claire puts her hands on Leo’s chest. She shakes her head and refuses, “I don’t kiss you!”
“Then I won’t tell you.” With that, Leo shows an expression that asks her to beg him.
Claire is really angry at Leo’s appearance. This time she isn’t in the water so she won’t compromise. She takes Leo’s big hand and says, “I’ll bite you!”
With that, Claire bites Leo on the back of his hand. For a moment, Leo’s back of hand is bitten by Claire with a row of teeth marks.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
