After the kiss, Claire wakes up from a dream. When she sees Leo’s face in front of her, she is shocked and subconsciously wants to hide. Leo reaches out and holds the back of her head and deepens the kiss.
Claire just wakes up and is still in a daze. Her body unconsciously matches Leo’s rhythm.
The kiss is getting hotter and hotter. Fortunately, Leo restrains. He realizes that they are in the company so he stops. He taps Claire on the cheek and whispers, “let’s go home.”
Claire is fully awake at this time. She feels where Leo has just tapped her. She thinks she is too careless. She fell asleep.
Otherwise, Leo won’t have a chance. They’re in the company!
Claire looks at the time and finds that it is over eleven in the evening. She breathes a sigh of relief. It’s so late that no one will see them.
Although Claire’s apartment is close to the company, Leo insists on driving her home. Claire thinks it is so late that she is not safe on her own, so she doesn’t refuse.
When Leo sends her downstairs, he gets out of the car. Claire sees Leo’s action and is startled.
“President, why do you get off the car? Don’t you go home?”
Leo glances at her and says lightly, “I’ll stay at your house tonight.”
With that, he walks into the building.
“No, wait!” Claire quickly pulls Leo. She says anxiously, “president, it’s not good. Who are you? Why do you live with me!”
Hearing Claire’s words, Leo turns to look at her and asks, “who am I?”
“Ah, no...” Claire realizes that she has said the wrong thing. She is just flustered to stop Leo, so she says what she thinks. She calms down and says seriously, “a man and a woman are not suitable to live together. President, go home. You can drive anyway. It’s convenient.”
“It doesn’t matter. We don’t live in the same room.” Leo doesn’t care.
So that’s the problem!
Claire is upset. She doesn’t want to have this kind of relationship with Leo. Sooner or later, Tracy will find out.
But now she can’t find a good excuse to convince Leo.
Claire doesn’t speak so Leo says, “I’ve been busy all day today so I don’t want to drive home. Anyway, your house is close to the company. I’ll go straight to the company tomorrow.”
There is a trace of weariness in his voice. Claire looks at Leo’s face in the light. She finds his handsome face a little tired, so she can’t refuse.
Claire hesitates for a moment and makes the biggest concession. “OK, but this time you can only sleep on the sofa. You can’t sleep in my bed!”
“The sofa is hard...” Leo frowns and wants to refuse, but Claire interrupts him.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
