Claire takes Conan’s little hand. After they leave, Claire says angrily to Conan, “you already know I live here, right? How could you have the key to my apartment?”
Conan laughs and spits out his pinkish tongue. “You’re right. Ha ha, I didn’t mean to. I want to help you and daddy create more opportunities to get along. If I show up, I’ll stand in your way. I don’t want it!”
“Don’t you miss me?” Claire says angrily.
“I miss you and daddy, but you are stubborn. If I don’t create opportunities for you to get along, how can you give me a funny sister?” Conan says with a smile.
“You’re not polite!” Claire taps Conan on the head.

The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
