Claire is confused but walks quietly beside Leo.
The elevator reaches the floor where they work. As soon as the elevator door opens, they see Tracy sitting in the middle of the corridor. She brought in a chair and was sitting there facing the elevator.
She lays down her legs as soon as she sees them. She looks angry but doesn’t lose her temper. She comes up to them and looks at Leo and smiles, “Leo, you’re back.”
Leo’s smile fades when he sees her. He nods deadpan, “yes.”
Tracy looks at Conan in the middle and sneers. She looks at Leo and asks, “is this your son?”
Leo looks at Tracy coldly and asks, “Why are you here?”
However, everyone knows why Tracy came to the company. What’s even more chilling for Leo is that she knows about it in just one morning. What does it prove?
It proves that there are many of her spies in his company. His company becomes Tracy’s tool for monitoring him.
Tracy’s words and deeds are equivalent to challenging Leo’s bottom line.
Tracy gives Claire a cold look and despises her. She looks at Leo and sneers, “Leo, I have something to talk to you. Are you free now?”
Leo says coldly, “I happen to have something to talk to you.”
Tracy glances down at Conan and says arrogantly, “let’s go.”
She turns around and heads for Leo’s office.
Things are getting worse. Claire’s heart is heavy. She didn’t expect Conan to just come to the company to play, but Tracy knows about it.
She didn’t think of it. She forgot that Conan looks like them and that’s why things have come to this point.
Claire looks uneasily at Leo. Leo looks at Claire calmly and reassures her. Then he squats down and touches Conan’s head and comforts him, “Conan, don’t worry. Uncle and aunt want to talk. Will you play with mommy first?”
Conan knows what is going to happen, but he is not afraid at all. He smiles calmly and naively, “Okay, don’t worry about Conan.”
“Good.” Leo smiles and stands up to take a look at Claire. Then he goes into the office in silence.
When Tracy and Leo come into the office, Conan and Claire stand still. Claire’s a little flustered. What should she do? If she has known this would happen, she shouldn’t have let Conan come to the company.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
