Claire kicks the wall and reluctantly walks out of the toilet. She goes back to Leo’s office and her eyes turn resentful.
“What am I going to do here?” Claire asks him grudgingly.
Hearing Claire, Leo looks up. He’s still wearing a housecoat, but he’s sitting at a desk with a pile of papers and looks funny.
Leo takes a look at Claire and casually says, “you keep doing what you have to do. I am thirsty. Make me a cup of coffee.”
“...”
Claire stares at Leo. She knows Leo’s mind. She pouts and heads for the tea room. When she opens the door, the two bodyguards stop her.
Claire turns around unhappily and says to Leo, “they don’t let me out!”
Leo glances coldly at the two bodyguards. They immediately go back and stand upright like two logs.
Claire doesn’t like being watched and blocked everywhere. So when Claire comes to the tea room to make coffee, she thinks of a plan and smiles treacherously.
Claire goes back to the office and brings the coffee to Leo. Then she goes out of the office and sits in her place of work.
Claire laughs in her heart all the time. She imagines the expression of Leo when he drinks the coffee countless times. It must be funny.
Leo finishes reading the first document in the office. He signs and shakes his neck. He picks up the coffee in front of him and drinks it.
One, two, three...
Leo takes a sip of coffee. He vomits it out when it isn’t fully in his throat.
At the same time, Leo’s face turns livid. He yells, “Claire!”
Leo slams his coffee on the desk. He wants to rush out and teach Claire a lesson, but he can’t. Claire puts a lot of sugar in his coffee! Coffee is replaced by sweetness!
He should teach the naughty little wild cat a good lesson. He pissed her off today but she teased him. She is too bold.
Leo stands up angrily. He goes to the lounge and dressed. Then he leaves the office and goes to dinner with Claire.
Claire can’t help laughing in her heart after Leo comes out. Leo sees her expression and sneers, “is it funny?”
“Yeah, it’s funny...” Claire begins to clap the table and laugh. The war between her and Leo began when she just poured a pile of sugar into his coffee. Claire won’t hurt herself any more!
Claire is outspoken. Leo’s mouth moves. His face is livid. He picks up Claire at the front desk and kisses Claire in public.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
