Tracy says a lot to Claire. Before Claire can reply, she adds sarcastically, “your son was born six years ago, right? You are so hateful. When your child grows up, you go back to America. I used to look down on you! I shouldn’t be off guard. I didn’t expect you to pretend you were ugly and cheat me and seduce my fiance. You... You!”
Claire is slapped in the face. Tracy seems so angry that she can’t say the whole thing. She starts slapping Claire in the face. She slaps Claire several times.
Claire is tied to a chair and can’t move and can’t avoid Tracy’s attack. After a few slaps, Claire just feels dizzy. Her face is numb.
In the eyes of outsiders, Claire’s face is red, swollen and bleeding.
Tracy is satisfied and takes back her hands. She blows the pain in the palm of her hand. She looks down on Claire with pride. She smiles smugly at the rhythm she has created.
Tracy scoffs arrogantly, “since you are going to die today, I will let you understand! Today, I will kill you first and then find your son and kill him! I’ll let you know what it’s like to offend me!”
When Tracy finishes, Claire feels that her shame disappears. She thought she was purposefully close to Leo and a little sorry for the woman. Now it seems she deserves it!
What’s more, Claire never feels that she has done it wrong. Leo seduced her first. She didn’t seduce him. Why should she be punished for Leo for nothing!
Claire gets angry when Tracy finishes. She looks at Tracy coldly and sneers, “Miss Wilson, are you complaining to me now? It’s ridiculous. Who doesn’t take care of her fiance and let him seduce other women everywhere?”
“He must not have told you that he seduced the daughter of the president of a company when we were in City B. Since you can get photos of Leo and me, it’s not hard to get theirs.”
“Shut up, you bitch!” Claire’s words anger Tracy. She slaps Claire again. This time she tries her best. Claire is knocked aside.
Tracy is still not satisfied. If she didn’t slapped Claire with her palm and now her hand hurts, Tracy will hit Claire so hard that her son can’t recognize her!
“You bitch are not qualified to comment on me! You polluted Leo! He didn’t do that before! Before, I was the only one in his eyes! He didn’t look at other women! It’s you! It’s all about you!” Tracy roars hysterically, and then she comes forward and shoves Claire down.
Claire’s head hits the ground. For a moment, Claire has a headache and her face is grim.
But Claire says stubbornly, “how do you know that’s what he really is? Maybe he pretends to cheat you all these years! Do you know what his nature is?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
