Now Claire really appreciates Conan. He first eavesdropped on Juan, and now he has a lot of high-tech that she doesn’t understand.
The point is that the little guy collects the voices of so many people around him. He is already ready. His mind is a little grisly. What is Conan’s purpose? Where does his ability come from?
Conan’s actions have made it difficult for others to treat him as an ignorant child. But Claire still trusts Conan unconditionally. After all, he is her own son. He does it to help her. And, of course, Leo.
“So what are we going to do next?” Claire wakes up from her thoughts, but she still feels incredible. How can a mobile phone let them leave here?
Conan takes Claire to the chair and points to the door and says, “we’ll let them open the door, of course, or how can we get out? We can’t fly. Even if we can fly, we can’t fly out of such a big courtyard.”
“Ha? Conan, do you have a fever?” Claire puts her hand on Conan’s forehead and thinks that sometimes genius is stupid.
Conan shakes his head instead of refuting. Then he picks up the phone and presses it.
Claire only hears the sound of successful invasion from the microphone. Then the sound of successful loading comes from the black cube.
Next Conan calls. Surprisingly, the phone rings outside the door.
Conan takes the black cube to his lips and says to the cube, “release Miss Bennett and Conan from house arrest and arrange for a car.”
Claire’s chin almost falls off, because Conan’s voice is exactly the same as that of Juan, which seems to be the function of the black box.
“Do we need to follow?” There is a dull voice of the bodyguard outside the door.
Conan is even more proud of the success of the trick and says to the black cube, “no one needs to follow. No driver.”
Then Conan quickly hangs up and takes out the chip. He puts away the little black cube.
The door is knocked. A black bodyguard stands respectfully at the door and nods to Claire and says, “Miss Bennett, Mr. Juan informed me that your house arrest has been lifted and you can move freely. The vehicle is ready and you can leave at any time.”
Conan smiles at Claire and says, “Mommy, I’m right. If you want to leave, the door will open naturally.”
Claire nods and marvels at Conan’s high-tech magic. But she calms down in a moment. She says quietly, “because your godfather is good to us. Let’s meet your godfather now.”
Conan blinks and goes downstairs with Claire. Before leaving, he throws his cell phone to the bodyguard in black and thanks him respectfully. He turns and shows sarcasm.
At this time, the bodyguard does not know that he is teased by Conan. He looks at the cell phone in his hand and Claire’s unnatural steps. He feels something is not right.
But it was Mr. Juan who called just now. The bodyguard shakes his head and gives up thinking. They just need to execute orders. And he doesn’t want to be at the door all the time.
But he does not know that punishment will come soon.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
