Leo is still in a coma, so Bryce asks the hospital for an ambulance and takes Leo and his bed away.
Bryce looks at Leo’s pale face and is in a complex mood. He doesn’t understand the merits of the man. He hurts Claire many times but Claire still likes him.
Things between men and women are really strange.
Bryce shakes his head slightly and tells himself it is no use thinking about it. He can only stay with Claire and expect to be with her one day.
In addition, Bryce suspects that the anonymous message is probably from Luke. Maybe he knows it by some means.
Bryce goes almost as fast as he can to Luke’s house. When Leo really appears in front of everyone, everyone is surprised.
“You bring him back! Is no one there to guard him?” Luke is shocked. He thought Bryce would only know some details this time.
Seeing Luke’s surprise, Leo is also confused. He says in disbelief, “isn’t that message from you?”
“What? What does it have to do with Leo?” Luke is confused.
Bryce looks at Claire and Conan and they blink and look at him and wait for his explanation.
So Bryce explains the specific situation.
“In a word, I can’t have brought Leo out without the man telling me that the people in charge of Leo have left.” Bryce says, “I thought it was you.”
Luke listens to Bryce’s explanation and understands. He murmurs, “I see. It must be the last hacker. I didn’t expect him to know us so well. Fortunately, he is our friend, otherwise we are in danger.”
Bryce frowns and says, “hacker? Do you know this man?”
Luke walks up to Leo’s bed and covers Leo. He shakes his head and says, “no, actually I’m investigating him but I don’t get the information. Maybe he’s Leo’s friend. We’ll know when he wakes up.”
Luke doesn’t tell Bryce about the last ad campaign. Bryce, after all, is a rival to Howard Group. But it’s hard for Luke to stay calm and distance from Bryce.
Bryce doesn’t ask. He points to Leo in the hospital bed and says, “anyway, I’ve brought him here.”
Now Conan is lying on the edge of the bed and staring at Leo. His hands hold Leo’s hands and he places them on his cheek and mumbles. Claire is standing next to him.
When Bryce sees Claire’s sad face, he is also very sad.
“Now we’d better not send Leo to the hospital. If this happens again...” Claire asks Luke for advice.
Luke nods and says, “he can live in my house. I’ll let a lot of people protect him. I will inform the hospital and ask them to call all the best doctors they can find.”
Bryce suddenly says, “I’ve thought about it. The doctor is on his way.”
Luke takes a puzzled look at him, and Bryce explains, “he is his former attending physician. Do you doubt me?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
