The board meeting that bothers Luke is finally over. After that, Luke sits in Leo’s office and has two cups of coffee in a row and cheers up.
Luke puts his hand on Leo’s chair and moves it gently. He is imagining what Leo will do in the face of this situation.
There seem to be only two ways. The first is to find out the man. Of course, Luke has been working on this before, but he gets nothing. The second and hardest way is to renegotiate with Wilson Group.
Now only Wilson Group can save Howard Group.
Thinking of this, Luke calls the secretary and says, “in any case, get in touch with the people of Wilson Group. This is the most important work now. If you can’t do it, you can leave tomorrow.”
The secretary is scared pale by Luke’s cold voice and almost runs out of the office.
At this time, an employee of Howard Group is ready to leave the company. He has a lot of documents in his hand and looks very conspicuous.
But because the company has been in a mess recently and the files and documents flow more frequently, few people pay attention to him.
If Conan are here, he will find out that this man is the one who embarrassed Claire last time, and his other identity is Juan’s spy in Howard Group.
This is his last undercover mission. He will take away all valuable information.
...
Juan barely misses any documents that his subordinates have brought back. He reads them as if he were reading a joke. Occasionally he laughs.
Because Juan is playing a game with Leo now.
Howard Group is undoubtedly a big company, and every big company has some dirty money. But every fund and every project is documented. In order to hide people’s eyes, they will make false accounts and so on.
Juan is looking for Leo’s record of breaking the law in recent years as if he was playing games. He’s an expert in this area and even his ideas are the same as Leo’s, so it’s not hard for him.
“President Juan, you don’t have to work so hard. You can make them do it.” His subordinates don’t understand why he is so interested in these boring documents and laughs.
Juan glances at him and shakes his head. “You don’t understand. This is my war with someone.”
The man asks, “for a woman?”
Juan stops and smashes the folder under the man’s feet and says coldly, “it’s not a good habit to say too much, and don’t think you know me.”
Don’t think you know Juan. Conan makes a mistake. Claire makes the same mistake. They all think Juan won’t go too far with Howard Group.
But in fact, they are dueling.
The man sees Juan angry but still respectfully picks up the document and hands it back.
Juan waves and says, “forget it. Let them do it quickly and sort out the records in a short time and show them to me.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
